Casa Lomas was designed to embrace the stunning natural landscape of the Andalusian hills. The design began with an exploration of how to create a home that would offer both privacy and openness, balancing the beauty of the surrounding views with the need for intimate spaces. The home’s structure was carefully integrated into the hillside, utilizing reinforced concrete to ensure stability and preserve the land’s integrity. The multi-tiered layout follows the slope of the hill, with each level offering expansive terraces that provide unobstructed views of the mountains and the sea.

The use of natural materials, including stone and wood, was a central theme in the design, bringing warmth and texture to the modern, minimalist forms of the home. Large glass windows and sliding doors were strategically placed to frame the views, while providing an indoor-outdoor living experience. The interiors emphasize spaciousness, with an open-plan layout that fosters a sense of connection between family members while offering individual areas for relaxation. The design also incorporated energy-efficient systems, such as solar panels, to enhance the home’s sustainability without compromising on luxury.
